KaneBT Technologies’ iPhoneBT is an emulator/simulator of the Apple iPhone for Windows. It is designed to be a demonstration of the abilities and UI of the iPhone, not a desktop replacement. iPhoneBT cannot play music or video, and has not been designed to do so.
.
.
Main Features of iPhoneBT 1.0:
-All widgets from main menu are fully functional (you can access their primary pages, not use them)
-A fully functional iPhone Calculator.
-A fully functional Photo Gallery
-Full Phone Interface: Contacts, Usable Keypad, Calling Screens etc.
-iPod Widget Interface: Playlist Browsing, Now Playing Screen.
iPhoneBT is an excellent way to get a feel of the iPhone interface, or it can be just a bit of fun to play around with!
iPhoneBT requires Windows XP or Vista, and DirectX 9.

This is not an emulator! This is a bunch of screenshots with cheesy powerpoint transitions… In no way it resembles the iphone interface. You did even fix the time, every menu option has a different timestamp, or this it take one hour and 25 minutes to load the sms app =P Its nice though, but don’t call it an emulator, more like Iphone Interface Impression or something.

This is not an emulator. It’s a slide show.

This thing is retarded
I found a safari browser emulator at http://eise.es40.net. Works like a charm

Hey
@Joost: Dont like it dont use it :p. Id have to say it is an emulator though. It ‘emulates’ or ’simulates’ the iPhone interface doesnt it?
@Sean Riddolls: Thats what Id say an emulator or simulator is?
@Jon: That only emulates the Safari section, whereas iPhoneBT shows the whole interface:)
Thanks!

Hey gonso75:)
No, iPhoneBT only emulates the iPhone Interface, nothing else. Unfortunately I dont know of any other way to show iPhone apps without and iPhone or Mac:S. Good Luck!

I thought was good but it is not it will take in the years

Hey it would be helpful if you gave out the source code so programmers and enthusiasts could make some changes to it and give it to you, Like a developers thing lol

@kanebt – This application does not ‘emulate’ nor does it ’simulate’ the iPhone. Those words have specific meaning to software developers. This application does not satisfy even the most liberal definition of those terms. Please call your application something else so other people do not waste time thinking they can develop some tool or web site using this software.

Mark:
I agree with you there.
This is by far NOT an emulator. Anyone can write a simple
interface which displays a web browser.
An emulator behaves like the iPhone itself in that it
is able to mimic the hardware’s behaviour and not what appears
to the user.
If you write an emulator, then you pretty much know how the hardware
operates.

good pics, but not even fuckin close to an emulator
March 20, 2009 at 1:24 am |
So, this is really an “imitator,” no? Instead of a hardware/software emulator, it’s kind of like a kid dressing up for Halloween as their favorite superhero. This kinda looks like the iPhone from a distance the way the kid might look like Superman. The kid can’t fly, run fast, or take a punch, but, nonetheless, he did dress the part.

Nice pictures, well actually no they aren’t, they are just copied pictures.
An Emulator works like the iPhone, ie i can develop, install and test my software on it. Not only do you know little about software development, but you don’t know the first thing about the English language.
June 21, 2009 at 8:09 pm |
call this an emulator when it will be able to actually run iphone aplications and games. otherwise is nothing but some pictures packed in a fancy exe.
